1300 Frequently Asked Questions

 Can I have mulitple 1300 numbers on my account?

Alot of our existing cutomers have mulitple 1300/1300 numbers linked to their account. By placing a unique 1300 number in each advertisement, you will soon clearly discover which advert is giving you the best return for your investment and off course which advertisement is not.

 Do you have any contracts?

Telco Fusion has No contracts. We simply ask that you give us one month's calendar notice to cancel.

 Are there any set-up fees?

Telco Fusion doesn't charge any setup fee at all, this means more money in your pocket.

 Does Telco Fusion offer phonewords?

NO!

Telco Fusion will suggest that you licence a 1300 Flash Number from www.flashnumbers.com.au or purchase a 1300 number directly from www.smartnumbers.com.au

Flashnumbers cost approx $1.50 a day and they are easy to recall 1300 numbers with double or triple digits. 1300 Phone words can be purchased by participating in the next available smart number auction. Smart Numbers usually start from around $500 each.

What if I want a smartnumber with more than 10 digits in it?

You can do this.

This is a feature called overdial. For example: Our 1300 smartnumber is 1300 Telco Fusion. This is advertised with a total of 14 digits, however our real 1300 number is 1300 835 263  (only 10 digits long).

Overdial allows you to advertise your full business name and automatically connects your customer's call once they have hit the tenth digit.  

The call will not be affected at all if your customers do not dial the remaining four digits.

If I have already won my smartnumber at auction how do I activate it?

To activate your new smartnumber please complete the "transfer your smartnumber" (section 5) of the below application form.

Complete the Application and fax to our office on 1300 557 007 or scan/email to us at info@telcofusion.com.au

Upon receipt of your application form, Telco Fusion will transfer your new 1300 smartnumber to us and activate your new service.

 I don't want to licence a flashnumber nor buy a smartnumber can I get a FREE 1300 number?

Telco Fusion can supply you with a Free Lucky Dip 1300 number from the national pool of available numbers. These numbers are allocated to telecommunications companies by The Australian Communications and Media Authority, otherwise known as ACMA.

Upon receipt of your application form, Telco Fusion will then submit a request for a new 1300 number to be activated to your Telco Fusion account.

 Will I own the number if I select a Lucky Dip number?

No you will not own your lucky dip number, you will have the right to use your new lucky dip 1300 number, as long as your invoices are paid by the due date.  If your payment in arrears dishonours, or you fall behind in your payments, Telco Fusion may suspended or cancel your 1300 number.

How do I apply for my new free lucky dip 1300 number?

Once you have completed your new 1300 number application form simply fax it to 1300 557 007  or scan and email to info@telcofusion.com.au

Approximatley 2-4 business hours after the receipt of your application form, your new 1300 number will be activated and emailed to you with your welcome letter.

You must test your new 1300 number prior to advertising.

Can I transfer my 1300 number/s to Telco Fusion?

You can.

Telco Fusion transfers 1300 number customers to Telco Fusion from other providers everyday. The majority of new Telco Fusion business comes from transfers.

Will there be any downtime when I transfer to Telco Fusion, will it affect my service?

No not at all.

Transferring a 1300 number service to Telco Fusion is a seamless process.

This will not affect your service at all, there will be no down time.

How do I change where my 1300 number is diverted too?

The phone where your 1300 number is answered is known as the answerpoint or the destination number.

To change your 1300 number destination simply complete our online “Change 1300/1300 destination form”

found under the 1300 numbers tab above.

Your request will be proccessed and completed usually within two hours during business hours.

 If I am on the phone can my phone calls be transferred to another number?

Yes they can

Calls made to a 1300 number will be routed firstly to a primary destination number, then if busy or unanswered after 10 - 15 seconds, that same call can then simply be routed to second destination number free of charge.

This is called Overflow.

  What will it cost my customer's to phone my 1300 number?

If your customer's call originates from a fixed land line anywhere within Australia, that call will be a free call to your customer.  

If your customer's call originates from a mobile phone the customer will be charged according to their contract whith there mobile provider.

These charges vary and will depend on which provider they are with.

Will my new 1300 numbers work in other states?

1300 numbers work in every State and Territory in Australia

1300 numbers are one of the Australian reverse charge networks.

 Can my 1300 number be dialled from overseas?

We recommend that you advertise your local land line number as you point of contact for your international customers to call.

However, Calls mat be accepted by the oversease network and connected to your 1300 number if the country that they are calling you from accepts the phone call.

This depends entirely on that countries telephone network providers. If the call is accepted by the overseas network the caller will be charged according to their contract with their provider.

To call a 1300 number/s from another country, dial the overseas code of that country + Australia's country code (61) + your 1300 or 1300 number.

How can I pay my account?

Telco Fusion rock bottom rates are possible because of our automated system.

We provide free reporting tools and unbilled calls for the current month, you may login to your account portal 24/7 and download your past invoices. You may also have your 1300 number invoice sent to you via email.

On or around the 12th of the month, your nominated business account or business credit card will be drawn against.

Please ensure you have enough funds available to avois penalty fees or dishonour fees.

 Do I have to set up my account with direct debit?

Yes!

When you sign up for a 1300 number account with Telco Fusion a direct debit is essential.

Having a direct debit in place assist's Telco Fusion in maintaining a fully automated system. This will keep your 1300 number costs as low as possible, essentially putting more money in your pocket.

At the beginning of every month you may login to your back office and download your invoice. You may also have your 1300 number invoice sent to via email.

Then, on or around the 12th of the month, your nominated business account or business credit card will be direct debited.

How do I update my direct debit details?

Simply download our “Credit Card Direct Debit Form”

or the “Bank Account Direct Debit Form”

found under the “Customers Services Tab”

at www.telcofusion.com.au

Then fax your new direct debit details to our Fax number 1300 557 007.

If I relocate can I keep my 1300 number?

If you are growing your business at some time you will probably need to relocate.

Telco Fusion seamless relocation of your 1300 number means your business calls and potential sales are not missed.

Simply send Telco Fusion an email and our customer service team will complete your request within two hours.
